The People
Elyse
Elyse holds an MBA with Ivey Business School and after having spent nearly 20 professional years in Toronto, she took great pleasure in relocating to London, ON in the summer of 2018 to enjoy life in a less hectic and more well rounded way.
She started her career in finance, sorting through P&L’s and helping colleagues figure out the best way to make marketing decisions in order to render incremental growth and a profitable bottom line.
Transitioning as a financial analyst at a software company to eventually becoming an executive leader at a multi-billion dollar retailer, Elyse learned how to develop strong relationships with peers, process vast levels of information and execute effectively with detailed analytics and a measured, strategic mindset.
While holding finance, marketing and operations roles at some of Canada’s largest organizations, Elyse has also had a passion for building and supporting companies in the startup community. She has helped a # of clients improve business performance and has taken great interest getting to know them and learning about new products and services.
When time allows, Elyse enjoys spending it with her blended family constituted of a loving, supportive partner and 3 incredible children. When extra special time allows she likes to travel near and far!
Shannon
Shannon is a lifelong learner and has a long list of post-grad, professional certifications that include communications, public relations, web development and Google Analytics. She’s spent the last 19 years working, learning, and building a family in London.
Starting her career at Western University, Shannon was a social media pioneer, introducing and instructing colleagues and faculties. She continues to build strategies and instruct organisations on best practices.
Shifting gears to work with a large not-for-profit organisation, Shannon developed policies and procedures that would lead to successful digital experiences. At the same time Shannon used her skills to support local agencies as a board member and Communications & Marketing Chair.
Through these experiences Shannon has created large websites with multiple committees and hundreds of pages, but also smaller sites and digital experiences that are tailored to businesses of every size.
While currently staying close to home with her family in Wortley Village, Shannon will happily share stories of past travels. Harvesting lavender in Croatia, the joy of being lost in Rome, or walking an elephant through the African jungle. Also, great to have around in a pinch, she’s a former World Champion in first aid!
